Salsa is arguably the best accompaniment to tortilla chips, but adding to the usual suspects of tomatoes and onions can bring a new flavour sensation to your cuisine. A quick drain and rinse, and adding corn to your favorite salsa, can really help kick snack time up a notch!

  • 1 can Creamed corn
  • 1 jar Salsa (can or jar)
  • 300 grams Tortilla chips
  1. Open the can of creamed corn and empty into a colander or strainer. Drain and rinse the corn with cold water, and set aside.

  2. Open the can or jar of salsa and empty it into a bowl.

  3. Combine the drained corn with the salsa and mix thoroughly.

  4. Place the tortilla chips in a separate bowl or on a plate. Serve with the bowl of salsa on the side. Add a dash of salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!

  • Ensure the corn is fully drained before combining with the salsa. No one likes watery salsa!
  • Try different types of salsa to really mix things up. Mango salsa is especially fun!
